Saban and Kiffin work to rehabilitate Sarkisian after his embarrassing display at USC, where he apparently showed up drunk at a pep rally and said some stupid things and basically, I believe this was reported, had a drinking and/or personal problems and was let go.

That said, he has a very sharp offensive mind, and together with Kiffin make a formidable offensive pair. But then we've got DeBord---yea, taste it bama! Oh, my...

Bama is now a rehab facility between Kiffin and Sark.

Most pundits feel that Kiffin will get another HBC position after this year and Sark is the plan to keep the same offense roling in Kiffin's exit transition.

Heard that Sarkisian's salary is to be covered by boosters from Tuscaloosa area bars and liquor stores. TIFWIW.

My guess is Saban believes Kiffin will be gone after this year and is hiring his replacement in advance.

He didn't just show up at a pep rally drunk. He showed up for a practice drunk. He also had a reputation for this type of behavior while at Washington. Great hire, Nick.

That is a ridiculous article. Alabama just hired a coach who sued his prior employer for firing him for being an alcoholic. He never accepted one shred of accountability for his own conduct which included multiple incidents. This article makes no mention of that relevant fact. This is a 'brilliant move'? Really? Saban could hire a registered sex offender and Bama fans would defend it.
