Bye, have a good one. Intelligence and Alabubba fans really don't go together. Kind of like oil and water it doesn't mix. Why are you here anyway? Shouldn't you be saturating the couch on your front porch in gasoline? You know for the big National Championship game celebration.

Don't let the door hit you in the butt on your way out. Your time here was longer than mine on TideFans. I lasted one post. I said hello and was banned because my avatar was Bear Bryant's tombstone. The reason was "Stating or implying that Bear Bryant was not the greatest football coach ever living or dead."

Apparently Tide fans don't want fair competition on their boards either.

Besides, if your intelligence was being sucked out and it took you longer than two seconds to post you are too late. Both brain cells are probably gone by now.

I admire what the man did. I have been to the Bryant Museum. Fair or foul, he was very good at what he did. That does not change the fact that (brace yourselves Bammers) he is DEAD!

We had 4 in 2008. Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, and South Carolina all played us after their bye weeks in 2008.

We had 0 in 2007 and 2009 though.
There's probably no way of avoiding it at least a little bit unless you go to some kind of block schedule. It should be spread around so that each team gets hit no more than once a year.

So is Neyland, but I think you still talk about maxims. This is the only school in the SEC that can even come close to understanding tradition and history, yet many of you interact like a bunch of drunk monkeys.

I've no sympathy for Alabama. But it does seem like fishy scheduling -- teams being lined up one after another with extra weeks to prepare for the league's #1 (hopefully not for long) team

It is getting real close these days between you and the barn for who is the most jealous of the Crimson Tide. Every time you bash and try to take away from what Bear Bryant accomplished it simply justifies what he did accomplish or no one would speak of him or hate him kinda like General Neybob. I know what you will say: but Bear never beat Neyland. This is true but they never crossed paths while Bryant was at Bama.

Neyland and Bryant were both elite coaches, at somewhat different times in CFB history.

I doubt there's anything "fishy" about it, and UA AD Mal Moore has never even implied that there is. As was pointed out above, UT faced four post-bye SEC teams in 2008. It can just turn out that way, because there's no scheduling rule to prevent it. That's what UA AD Mal Moore asked the other ADs to consider fixing for the sake of fairness to all teams. There's agreement among the ADs to implement such a rule.

I have no problem with a little smack and joking between rivals, but the posters that continually spew sincerely meant hatred, childish insults, etc. are apparently just too stupid and classless to realize that it mostly just demonstrates that they are exactly that. Every fan base unfortunately has to bear the embarrassment of those they'd rather not claim.
