Guys, I completely understand the magnitude of East Division wins to Tenn versus West wins. That being said, to fans 40 or older(I'm almost 41) the BAMA game holds the honor of being #1 to a lot of us. Most would say Florida or Georgia because of our division and that is a very strong argument. Growing up as a pre-teen and teenager/college in the 80's and early to mid 90's nothing rivaled the 3rd Saturday in October. My saddest memories are losses to Bama such as the 1990 9-6 loss. My greatest memories are 1982 vs Bama to end a long streak. We dominated Bama from 1995 thru 2004 only losing to them once. Our team is more talented than we have been in years and we have a week off to rest/heal and prepare for Bama. We will probably be 10-14 point underdogs when the line comes out. I don't know if this is the year as we may be a year away, but this rivalry is about to get good again. College football is better when Tenn/ Bama rivalry is strong. Go big Orange and please unite to hate Bama as much as I do! GO VOLS!

Vandy is probably the biggest game to many people on here. We're only 1-2 against them since they were born.

I think it's stupid we keep the rivalry and play them every year. We need out of that IMO. I don't care how it looks.

Also, I should have added that I live in Southern Middle Tennessee so we have a lot of Bama fans who live here. Really hard to live here when they are dominating the series as they are now.

26 here and it's Florida for me, but my pops is 59 and would say Alabama. Matter of fact the first game I can really recall going to as a kid was the 98 year against Bama and seeing Peerless Price take back that 100 yard kickoff for a TD. Was a thing of beauty.

I think Bama's next three games will be against teams coming off a bye week. I bet Nick really appreciates that lol.

Obviously, it should be 'Bama. Tennessee and Alabama are the two traditional Southern football powers, and there have been many epic battles between the two. Before divisional play, we rarely played either Georgia or Florida. Georgia has a good football history, but before Spurrier, Florida was a nothing program. They were the only SEC team which had never won a championship in either the SEC or its predecessor conference. Spurrier's mouth created our rivalry with them.

32 Florida
For two reasons:
Florida is a division game and was most of the time the gate keeper for us to get to Atlanta.
and
We had such a long streak over Bama when I was growing up that it wasn't much of a game, definitely not to the magnitude of Florida.

I'm 25, and it's Bama all day for me. I hate Florida with a burning passion and just wish we could beat them, but I will always be happier beating Bama than Florida.
