Bama -34

From 1990 to 2001, Alabama didn't score more than 24 points in a game against Tennessee. The Tide is a 34-point favorite vs. Vols Saturday.

until fulmer left we were never even a 19 point underdog for any game...EVER.

Been more than that prob 10x since, and now this, the biggest line on a game in ut history as an underdog.

I honestly wouldn't touch this game. Don't get me wrong: I expect Bama to win comfortably. But we've had playcalling and execution issues that have stalled drives, and we're more than capable of getting in our own way a few times throughout the game.

I understand, I've watched all of Bamas games, but this line is going to get bigger imo. :whistling:

On a separate but related note:

If Bama wins on Saturday, UT will be mathematically eliminated from the SEC East race after only 4 games. Has that ever happened before? Did it even happen under Dooley?

Actually, I'm wrong on this. Tennessee is already mathematically eliminated from the SEC East race.

:) Thanks, bro....really.

I really didn't think it was that bad when I first mentioned it. I was thinking "Gosh, Lyle is such a bad coach that he could have UT completely out of the SEC race halfway thru the conference schedule." It didn't occur to me that me that he's bad enough to have been eliminated with 5 games left. But I just ran the scenarios, and there are no tiebreakers at 5-3 that UT would win.

Holy crap, that dude is awful.

Ya, he's a champ. I lived in Birmingham for years and I know that Bama wont "take it easy" on the Vols. I'm shocked this line isn't much bigger. Bama toyed with us last year and it should be worse this year.

Would that make me a bad fan to put $100 on Bama covering this? I feel like it's easy money but I just can't do it.
