Baltimore state's attorney indicted on federal charges

If convicted, she could face up to five years for each of two perjury counts and decades in prison on charges of making false mortgage applications, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney's Office for Maryland.
Now wait... I'm all for putting people in jail for fraud. But possibly spending "decades" in jail for false mortgage applications is crazy. So let me get this straight... we have the Federal Reserve counterfeiting money everyday and banks are lending money with essentially a 0% reserve ratio and nobody goes to jail. But you're telling me that falsifying a b^tch azz mortgage application can get you decades in jail?

Now granted, this is a woman, so she probably will only get a fraction of that time, but still the point is that we have a two tier system where only certain entities are able to get away with fraud and corruption.

She committed fraud and stole thousands of taxpayer dollars. It doesn’t matter if she was government or corporate she deserves to go to jail.

It would have been better if she had looted.a jewelry store.

Great example: Martha Stuart goes to jail for insider trading. Pelosi and many other in congress are immune from such charges. Total bullsh!t.

Hell, Amber Guyger is only going to do 10 years and she broke into a guys home and killed him. She's not facing "decades" in prison.

Rae Carruth didn't even spend "decades" in jail.

Nancy Pelosi just voted trader of the year.

Nancy Pelosi: 2021 Wall Street Trader of the Year

"Pelosi traded over $50 million in assets, with annualized returns at 69 percent as of October. That’s higher than Buffett, George Soros, Cathie Wood, and other star investors of the past. Her wealth grew by an estimated $16.7 million in 2020. Every single stock she has bought in the last two years has gone up significantly."

Yet, she's too stupid to think she can't leave her job for somebody younger to fill that position & go live on all the $Millions stored up for her & her family.
She'll be 82 years old come this March. She doesn't have much life left to enjoy before she kicks the bucket.

Woke Baltimore prosecutor Loses Primary after Scandal that saw her Indicted for COVID Fraud 'to pay for $1M Florida vacation properties' as crime in her home city spiraled

A woke Baltimore prosecutor who aligned herself with criminal justice reformers but ended up facing a $1 million perjury lawsuit over COVID fraud has lost the Democratic primary to keep her job.

Mosby was indicted earlier this year on two counts each of perjury and making a false statement on a loan application in purchasing a home in Kissimmee, Florida, and a condominium in LongBoat Key, Florida, which amounted to $1.02 million.

The indictment accuses Mosby of falsely stating that the COVID-19 pandemic harmed her finances so she could withdraw $90,000 from her city retirement account. Mosby's gross salary in 2020 was over $247,000 and never was reduced, according to the indictment.

Baltimore's Former Top Prosecutor Marilyn Mosby is Found Guilty of Perjury after using Bogus COVID Hardship Claim To Raid Her Retirement Funds and Buy Florida Vacation Homes

A former top prosecutor for the city of Baltimore has been convicted of lying on financial documents to improperly raid retirement funds to buy two Florida vacation homes.

A federal jury on Thursday convicted Marilyn Mosby of two counts of perjury, after prosecutors said she falsely claimed that the COVID-19 pandemic had harmed her finances.

The former Baltimore state's attorney used the claim to withdraw $90,000 from her city retirement account, and used the funds as down payments to buy a home in Kissimmee, Florida, and a condominium in Long Boat Key, Florida

Prosecutors said Mosby's gross salary in 2020 was over $247,000 and never was reduced, but she claimed the pandemic had damaged her various side hustles.

Mosby served two terms as state's attorney for Baltimore. A federal grand jury indicted her on perjury charges before a Democratic primary challenger defeated her last year.
