Bailey to Keyton-highly productive

Generally a high school quarterback and a wide receiver who played together and then both went D-1, especially in the SEC, wreaked havoc in high school. That's kind of par for that course. I'm excited to see Bailey play though. The fanbase is going to be clamoring for him like they haven't for a freshman QB in a long time.

Yeah it's to be expected, but it also should pay dividends. Elite QB-WR tandems have to have a special connection.

Coach Pruitt is not very high on Harrison Bailey...…hope the kid does not transfer!
Bailey's the kind of QB that if you needed for him to pass the ball to win the game, he's more than capable of doing that. As far I I can tell, there is no one else on the team that can do that! If Pruitt doesn't like him, he needs to go ahead and resign, because he doesn't have a clue. Or maybe it's just the guy that I quoted.

We can all talk about the connection between the 2 all day long... I want to talk about him PANCAKING defenders 15 yards from the LOS!!!! This make me very, very happy. This means he is a team player and not a throw me the ball or I am going to get pissy with you on the sidelines type of player! I like it, alot!

He doesn't do that all the time. It usually happens when a defender is running his mouth. Want to get the best out of him, talk trash and watch what happens.

I agree. I wish it weren’t that way, but it is. I worry about all the pressure that is associated with it. JG is already a head case, I’m sorry JG fans but that’s hard to argue against, and if he’s going to be the guy going forward he needs to be his best version and then some. Maybe we’ve already seen it, maybe we haven’t . I just hope that this doesn’t have a negative effect on the team.

What makes you say that? IMHO, part of why he favored JG last year was to avoid having a younger established QB that might influence HB's signing.

The truth is that HB is likely the starter the moment he's ready to play. He has the advantage of being the guy Pruitt and Chaney chose, pursued, and signed together. He wasn't the best they could get like Shrout. He wasn't a guy they thought might be underrated and a little raw like Maurer. HB is a guy they believe can help turn the program into a championship contender... and soon.

I've expressed my doubts. I think the two returning guys with PT are getting short changed in a way. But I would like to see any proof at all that Pruitt doesn't love Bailey.

With statements like that, I think we know who is high
