So if we finish 6-2 with coach Bruce Pearl suspended does anyone else have a slight feeling this is an audition for Jones?

Did you really have to make another thread asking if Tony Jones the life time assistant, player ATM, and of course the x and o's genius (sarcasm) is being auditioned in anyway?

even though he wants to be a HC he just seems like a solid AC to me not a HC

is is really that unreasonable to think that? I want to keep coach Pearl I think hes a great coach and recruiter I'm not sure what happened with Chris Jones yet and if we lose him Bruce needs to find a replacement quick.

Chris Jones has the potential to be the best scorer we've had in a long time. He won't be a better shooter than lofton was (who will be?) but he can do things already Lofton couldnt.

He may not make it to school, but that sadly doesn't deny his abilities. Bad test scores don't take away his jump shot, just his ability to show it off <_<

He is no where near the type of shooter Lofton is/was. Jones is a point in the mold of Iverson or Rose, in that they have a score first mentality.

Not only is Jones a scorer but he is fearless and a leader. The guy isn't afraid to go directly at 6'10 Centers. He reminds me a lot of a smaller version of Allen Iverson. Kid is fearless. He will need to pass the ball more because he is a bit of a ball hog.

On a side note, UF is down by 6 to MSU with 9 left in the first half, hopefully the Bulldogs keep it up.
