I believe LSU was the preseason pick to win the SEC. They have not be right in years...maybe 10. So, I am hoping the trend continues.

As long as Corso and Holtz don't pick us, we are good.

I don't think Granny would pick us to win even if we were playing a high school team.

Dodd picked UT, he picks UT about as much as Holtz. That might kill it right there.

Hopefully they will play aggresive anyway, Fulmer has made some very aggresive play calls lately at least for him and it is LSU

I believe that ESPN has such a hatered for us, they are turning to vodooism in hopes of jinxing us. And by picking us that will jinx us and we will lose. Who cares about picks made by sportscasters.

:lolabove:

Just don't giv'em any chicken blood ...chatt!:eek:lol:

I'm not worried at all--lsu's defense is banged up and overrated. UT will score at will and put up at least 38. The D will make a few plays, and UT wins 38-27, then on to the Big Easy baby---gumbo, crawfish, raw oysters, hurricanes, red beans and rice---yeah!!!

Whoo..........you make me hungry!!! Lesa boonto' roule'

when we get there!!

yeah the last several weeks its been like that 2 experts pick us and 3 the other team. I think the vandy game may have been the exception though.

don't know if anyone saw it, but jesse palmer picked us to win too.

Jesse Palmer said something very enlightening for me the other day. Before the UK game he was always talking about how UK would destroy us. Then yesterday he said that he thought UT wasn't very good until he seen them play and now that he has seen EA and Co. he thinks we have a shot. It just goes to show that most of these announcer guys aren't even keeping up with teams they talk about. They just look at the stats and the previous performances and pick from those. I'm sure most of you have already figured this out but it doens't matter :twocents: what these morons say.

When it comes to game predictions, what they say is meaningless except for locker room material, and something for us to talk about. We make predictions for fun & to see who comes closest, they are filling air time.
However, when it comes to nat. rankings and Hiesman hype, they unfortunately do influence some people.

I sarted this thread mostly tongue in cheek, because you are exactly right; it doesn't matter what anyone thinks, thats why they play the game. This season has made that clear to everyone.

what you say is very true. he just shows up to the production meetings and i'm sure they had him stats about the teams and he sees how well EA did and there ya go.
