On ESPNU today, both "expert", out of work former coaches pick UT over LSU. Does this mean we are jinxed now, or do we take it for a positive? Try not to let any players hear about this.

I think everyone is buying into the LSU being banged up and down take... while I also believe that to be true, I'm starting to get worried that its going to provide additional motivation for LSU.

As long as Corso and Holtz don't pick us, we are good.

I don't think Granny would pick us to win even if we were playing a high school team.

well if it makes you feel any better all of the bowl projections I have seen have LSU going to the sugar bowl. Of course these "experts" have to change their projection every week. :)

Having their head coach house hunting in Ann Arbor and the D-coordinator shopping in Lincoln might have a say in the game.

According to the paper this morning, LSU players (and some fans) are clinging to the narrow hope of a scenario involving losses by Missouri and West Virginia coupled with LSU thrashing Tennessee senseless vaulting LSU over Virginia Tech, Georgia, and Oklahoma (the #4 who, for some reason, they believe they can pass in the polls even though Oklahoma will have beaten the number 1 team in the country by virtue of beating the number 14 team in the country). Its nonsense, but they are clinging to it. They aren't ready to let go yet. Of course, they still haven't let go of the USC AP championsip issue, either.

I believe that ESPN has such a hatered for us, they are turning to vodooism in hopes of jinxing us. And by picking us that will jinx us and we will lose. Who cares about picks made by sportscasters.
