Bad news on Woodson...

Off topic: just throwing this out there. I Ran into Derrick Reese at Pilot on Cumberland yesterday, asked him what time the game was today. He said " I don't know, I just know its Saturday".

What is your perspective on this? Just curious.

This was a portion of my post on 10/24/14 following my experience with Woodson at the Big Orange Madness event. I may be the next Miss Cleo..jus sayn...

"I really hope the team over achieves this year, and I really hope Donnie is successful. I know he had to take some chances on some people, but Dominic Woodson's poor attitude tonight makes me wonder if he will make it until Christmas."

Oh well, another project doesn't work out.

It's always worth a try. If this is true, it's sad that Woodson couldn't/ wouldn't take advantage of the extra opportunity.

Not to be judgemental, but never had a great feeling about Woodson. I hope he knows his opportunities to play on the D1 level are near the end.

Well I guess we all should of expected something like this. We all knew Woodson had character issues, and was hoping Coach Tyndall could bring out the best in this young man. Hopefully Woodson can get his act together and remain on the team. Even if he doesn't ever produce much on the court for us, we could still use his big body if only ever for a glorified practice player.

It's a loss of a big body, but it is not bad news moving forward. This team has been a questionable .500 team this year from the get go even with CCM as the projected coach. Yes the Freshman under CCM might have bumped it either way, but .500 is and was the projection +/- 2 games.

Woodson gone, if so, will not affect the projection. He seemed to play more of an individual game and we knew he was out of shape and after losing the weight still seemed to be out of shape, but I maybe confusing conditioning with effort.
conditioning with effort, think that is more the problem than anything else...makes no effort anywhere!

@Vol_Hoops: TYNDALL: Dominic Woodson had to follow up with some academic things, he wasn't in practice all week.

He was a mental-game prospect..Woodson's potential as a player is huge, still imo. He just needs to figure it out personally/mentally. He just doesn't seem like he really wants to play basketball.

Kinda like those kids in middle school who dont want to play but are forced to by parents or other people

A little off topic, but I sure am not brave enough to open a new thread around here. Anyway, Hart needs to have a sit down with Tindall regarding his sideline language. For crying out loud, does this guy not realize we're in the age of a camera in your face all the time? What Momma wants her boy to come and play ball for a guy who shoots out the stuff anybody could lip read coming from Tindall? It sure changes my perception of him. Nasty.

ESPN showed him mumble cussing Moore when he passed the ball OB instead of bringing it back out to kill the clock.
