If you're weirdly/bizarrely intimidated or daunted by the quote fuzzy math unquote, I mean you could just probably figure out that his point is essentially: Hey Vols, in noting your horrid fg-defense, and further noting your reliance on TOs, and given that upper-tier teams tend to fare well in both categories, it seems like you're probably pretty poorly equipped to handle the rigours and quality of march opponents, at least compared to the KU's and UCLA's and Duke's of the world.
I'm not even sure what there is to argue about with that conclusion. Anyone?
The title of this thread is quite misleading and sensationalistic.
Makes that moment even more satisfying for me then, being that my allegiance rests (at that time) in a city that I didn't live in, and that you have more arrogance than a Gator football coach.I was back in the days of Kosar and Metcalf, but my allegiances rest with styles of play rather than cities I don't live in(man, try rooting for a CFL team, it's impossible).
That particular byner moment just always stands out to me as one of the more gut-wrenching sports-rooting moments i've ever had.
Classic case of offering no alternative position and grandstanding behind empty platitudes devoid of any backing.
This seems a legit point of arguement vs our Vols' chances at longevity come March. You think otherwise, and why?
Blah, Blah, Blah, Yada, Yada, Yada, 25 cent word, 25 cent word.
My argument is that you can use a lot of big words but you can't spell argument!:dance2:
Why don't you run all the stats and tell us who the winner is and then we won't have to play the game!:zeitung_lesen:
and you guys think i'm long winded.......jeez.
all that to say "when we don't force turovers it negatively affects our offense".
that is brand new information.lol:
What is this argument(hat-tip to the guy with poker av. for correction) about exactly?
If you are considering buying a car, do you not read up on the cars you're choosing between? Doesn't this reading-up help you make a more informed purchase? or if someone starts telling you about the Prius' drawbacks do you just say "blahblahblah, I'm gonna buy the car and then just see what happens"?
