Bad Bunny

I like consumption taxes, including tariffs, as far as taxes go. wouldn't consider those theft. but any tax that allows the/any government to seize your assets if unpaid is theft.

I would feel differently about a lot of taxes if we were actually able to choose where it went, instead of disappearing into a government black hole ran by politicians with no standard of upholding their promises or actually looking out for the public.

property tax is my biggest beef. thankfully Georgia is moving to eradicating that.
So not a tax is theft argument, but a reasoned take on the size of government and utilization of our hard earned $. We agree on virtually everything. I also think property tax is the most offensive.

And while I don't like seizure for any kind of tax recovery, there has to be some form of compliance enforcement else we'd all default. I don't know what the alternative collection action would be.

not sure why you think its a skit. the papa roach version made it to the radio. just because you are scared of the unfamiliar doesn't mean there isn't quality music to be found outside of the US.
I'm referring to your "snow flakes (needed) content whitened up" comment. You're literally conjuring some Joe Bob image tuned to a looping Lee Greenwood podcast, so you can fight against your own fabrication.
And saying I'm 'scared of the unfamiliar' or think quality music is only found here, is another weird conjuring. I literally stated Spanish music is often played in our house & car, and stated why the NFL deserves whatever backlash it gets.

Have an honest conversation, or don't.

KR puts on a hell of a show but Skynyrd concerts were an experience.
LS was scheduled to play the Knox Civic Center about 10 days after the crash (had tix). Between that and dealing with a calculus with differential equations freshman midterm I was not having a good time.

Bad Bunny's biggest song right now is called DTMF which translates/stands for "I should have taken more photos" and it's about all the loved ones in your life and how you can't stay with all of them forever.

That’s a sad state of musical affairs. It tells me that kids today like some sorry 💩 and that there’s a bunch of Latinos not showing up on the census numbers

I never realized that there’s so many Latinos in Australia, seeing as clearly they’re the only people who listen to Bad Bunny……

You should be less closed-minded, the takeaway for normal people would be that there are lots of non-Latinos who listen to his music
You clownish libs with your twisted panties are something else. I didn’t say only Latinos listen to his garbage.

The whitened up comment comes from experience. I have played that same HU song without Pappa Roach and people were indifferent about it. then I would play the Pappa Roach version and they suddenly liked it. same exact song, but some of it was in English. granted the phrase "white it up" is pretty tongue in cheek, but its fitting. I guess I could have gone with the more acceptable "Ok boomer" comment and left it at that.

And I guess I’d have replied ”I expected a vacuous retort” but we managed to avoid more snarkiness….yay! Us.
