Americans are spoiled because we have so much great music in English, but the non-English speaking world doesn't have that, and they all listen to music in other languages. We get the Macarena, and they get a ton of our hits, LOL. We don't get their best stuff because we only tune in for the weird.

It's not dumb to like a song in another language. We were all singing Du Hast in HS. We're spoiled, but not all of us are entitled. The ones who insist on everything catering exactly to their wants are the ones who are spoiled and entitled.

OMG, Puerto Rico is the 51st state and they finally got recognized in the 60th SB. I'm seeing red.

Most people don't know what many English songs are about and/or don't know but a fraction of the lyrics, and yet they still enjoy them. Yellow Ledbetter is maybe Pearl Jam's biggest hit, and nobody knows what any of the lyrics are. Kid Rock's biggest hit is based on a nonsense word.

I think it is really impressive how so many of the wu tang rappers were able to go on and do solo stuff as well.

Well, they were all solo at first. They all had had some underground success, but not bigtime commercial. I believe they referred to themselves as a super group.

I've been to 2 KR concerts and like I said, he puts on a hell of a show especially with surprise guests.

Saw Skynyrd a few times, most in the early 90s last one was in the late 90s or early 2000s at Starwood Amphitheater.

I saw them at Starwood as the headliner of Charlie Daniel’s Volunteer Jam. It was the first time they’d played together since their plane crash. They didn’t announce who was going to perform until they were introduced. Needless to say, the place erupted when Charlie told everyone it was LS.
I got to see Stevie Ray Vaughan and Great White that day too.

Kinda like Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They had 4 or 5 lineups to cover all their holiday shows. Each had different travel regions for the gigs. Talk about a heck of a show. Got hooked into by the wife, but it was a legit performance.

Similar but different. Saw Willie Nelson's 4th of july Picnic in '83 at Atl Motor Speedway (then AIR). 300,000 people. Whole infield was packed solid. Doobies everywhere. Total smoke out. David allen Coe parachuted in. also had Linda ronstadt, Waylon & Jessie, Stray Cats, and Willie. 100 degrees down in that infield that day. Whew!.
