I think the bipartisan consensus has to be that was of nearly zero entertainment value (hot dancers) and the only reason it will be talked about is people saying it was "so brave" and people saying "deport him" arguing back and forth.

SBHS has moved more towards theatrics over the years. By that metric, it was a spectacle.

I personally loved the PR block party theme, but I have fond memories in those settings. I can see how that wouldn't resonate with a lot of people.

Thought the theatrical stuff was used too much as a crutch for the language barrier

rapping and no instruments - I get popularity but not a lot of talent on display. as comparison, Bruno Mars killed it and the talent gap was massive.

I think they are trying too hard to recreate the viral organic moment from Prince. I didnt care for presentation last year (but I was actually at that game so that may sway my opinion some).

Thought it was fine for first half but too theatrical for me...

Yep, wingnuts on both sides will seemingly ignore the fact that the show itself was awful.

I thought it was BORING. I didn't care for K. Lamar or the Weekend but both were more interesting than this one to me.
