Earlier this month, Bad Bunny told i-D Magazine that he is not performing in the mainland U.S. on his upcoming world tour due to concerns his concerts could be sites of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids. Since President Trump returned to office in January, ICE raids have occurred in cities across the country.

Because he's popular and his show will help sell the NFL to a target demographic.

The NFL knows that football fans will watch the Super Bowl regardless. The halftime show gives liberal women and low testosterone aka Democrat men something to watch as well before they have to suffer through another half of toxic masculinity on full display aka the actual game.

NFL is trying to get more eyeballs to charge more for ads. Bad Bunny probably brings more eyeballs then everyone outside of Taylor Swift world wide. It's a business.

I had never heard of him, but I did pull up and listen to a few of his songs on Spotify last night.

I have a pretty broad range of musical tastes, and I'm sorry, but that crap is terrible. Seems an odd choice for a Super Bowl, I don't care how many worldwide listens he gets.
