I don't understand how a christian can support the slaughter of innocent unborn babies in the womb. I personally have never attended a church that preached the adherence to or support of political parties of either side. And I grew up in a historicaly conservative non-denom faith comprised of members that voted either party. It just wasn't a part a "church." If your rifling down voting one way or hte other to a single stance, there'd be no votes cast I suppose and we'd stalemate with not a single person elected. But, as I type that it don't sound so bad. But, we all know a country can't exist like that either.

I think the answer lies in the bible. We were instructed to be in the world, not of the world. Give to Casar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's. In a perfect rendition of God's christianity, I'd say we weren't intended to support any side of governement, but only to obey the law of the land and not be consumed by the "land"

The message was the opposite of what Trump is selling. BB is trying to unite and share. Trump and his people want to divide and exclude.

People from the US have inadvertently "othered" everybody else from our continent. In Asia, everybody is Asian. But there is a lot of confusion in our country about what an American is. Canadians are Americans. So are Mexicans. I don't think anybody meant to do this, but that's what happened.

There's a Tigres del Norte song where they sing "We're More American" and they talk about how not only are they indigenous blood, but Texas, Utah, and Arizona, etc. belonged to Mexico and it was taken. "I didn't cross the border, the border crossed me."

And then after all that, to add insult to injury, we don't even think of them as Americans.

I’m to the point of trying to figure out why we all GAF about a halftime show. Maybe if the game was actually worth a $hit people wouldve been less focused on a musical theatrical performance ? I don’t know. It was entertaining, kind of felt like an infomercial that should’ve had a voice over that said “Come see Puerto Rico”.
