It's safe to say the NFL still has no idea who their fan base is.
NFL is a business. And like all businesses their job is to create value for their shareholders. In this instance it would be their owners. They are doing quite well


NFL team valuations have risen significantly, with the Dallas Cowboys valued at $13.0 billion and the LA Rams at $10.5 billion in 2025, according to Forbes and CNBC. The average NFL team is now worth $7.65 billion, an 18% increase from the previous year, and all 32 franchises are valued at least $5.25 billion.

I'd bet we wouldn't have the same conservative whining issues if they were chosen although they are very left leaning...
