I will always be a Vol. I go to every home game and yell my arse off when our team is on D. I recognize that we are in the midst of a LONG rebuild to get back to the top of the SEC, and I will be there through the journey.

That said, I enjoy rooting for a competitive team. I find myself watching other football teams... college and Pro. As a lifelong Tennessee resident, I pull for the Titans. Do you have a backup team as well?

I enjoy college football in general but my back up team is the Air Force Academy. They are having a tough go early this year.
I was like a kid in a candy store when Fisher DeBerry brought his team into Neyland stadium in 2006.
And like a true football man DeBerry went for two when he could have tied the game with an kick. He stated they came here to win. Tennessee was very fortunate to pull off the win, 31-30.

Interesting side story, a few years before Air Force was added to our schedule I had contacted Coach DeBerry and invited him to Knoxville and asked if there were any possibility the Vols and Falcons would one day play. He responded with a very nice thank you for the invitation and basically stated anything is possible.

After the game I again contacted Coach DeBerry and told him how great of a program he had built and how fortunate the Vols were that day.
He told me they had a wonderful time in Tennessee and what a great experience it was to play in Neyland.

If you’ve got two teams, then you got no team.

Half of my family is from New Orleans, so I used to casually pull for LSU. Then the Dooley game happened...

I never pulled for them against the Vols or owned any LSU apparel or anything like that, but I enjoyed watching them play. They’ve got a rich tradition and passionate fan base just as we do. I’m def not a fan of Ed O.

Titans are my #2 team. I also pull for Wisconsin. They always have some hogs and a stout rb. I like their style.

I've got a sentimental attachment to Boise State ever since their 2007 Fiesta Bowl win over Oklahoma. One of the best games ever. No one gets more out of their talent than Boise State. And how 'bout that blue field?

College football is my favorite sport so I do have some teams I kinda like but none in the same stratosphere as the Vols. I like Stanford because I like the style of ball they play. I like Michigan because of the rich tradition. And Mich and Ohio St. to me are the northern versions of Tennessee and Alabama. I despise tOSU, UF, Bama and I’m not fond of Va. Tech due to living and working quite a few of their fans but they have hushed since we played them.
