I have to develop a lesson for my teaching and tech class. I'm going to talk about the 1960's and 1970's culture and use Hendrix's Star Spangled Banner as an example.

Because if Stokes has a prayer of playing in the NBA, he's got to add a little jumper and be that sort of player. There aren't a lot of successful NBA post players who can't get off the ground. Randolph is one.

Those two things have something Stokes doesn't....they have length. They both have long wingspans.

Zbo has pristine footwork, soft hands, and can sink FT's in addition to his smooth jumper. Stokes is big and bulky bull in the china shop et al. Two totally different players and skillsets.

"Machine Gun" is the Hendrix song you at least need to listen to it you want to talk about Vietnam. That's where his SSB was incubated.

I still call them the LA Rams occasionally. Baltimore Colts. St Louis Football Cardinals. These tracks get laid down in your brain in your youth and they never really go away. At least the Raiders are back in Oakland.
