There are two parts. One part factors in all the recruits and the other part only factors the top 20.

So it does help when you get to 22, 23 ect. But those recruits don't "fall off" per say.

UTVOL, thunder, tvols, how does the player being put in the top 250 affect our point values, aka how many points do they calculate on when a player is added? I'm confused as to how we will bump up to 11th after the player reval.

I could be wrong, but I think they've already updated the team rankings. We're at 14 now. We were at 13 yesterday. The team rankings say they were updated today.

They haven't updated the positison rankings yet, when they do that we should get a bump.

No, we have the same point total right now as we had yesterday, it hasn't updated yet.

McNeil and Peterman are the only two in a position top-10. I'm not sure it's going to bump much.

Of course, thunder is the expert, not me.

I don't have the exact forumla, hopefully Thunder jumps in here to clarify. But I believe that McNeil's jump from a 5.8 to 5.9 is worth 20pts and each position has different bonus structures (top 10 for QB's but top 20 for RB's, etc).

Since a couple of our guys are now in the top 250, and have moved up considerably in their position rankings, and we're only 32 pts behind Cal in 11th my guess is that's where we'll be when this all updates. I could be wrong, someone page Thunder! :)

you also have to factor in points updates for every team...seems like a waste of time when eventually rivals will make the adjustments automatically in their system.

It really dont matter where we finish up in the recruiting standings as long as these young men can come in and perform with the rest of the team and get us in the top 15 or higher in the season polls! Thats where the bread and butter is.... These are just for bragging rights IMO somebody correct me if im wrong here.
