The Florida fans were really really classless. We parked a mile away from the Swamp at a friends house. We walked down University and all I could hear was
Vols are Gatorbait!
Go home we dont want you here!!!!

Many Gators spewing anti Vol propaganda on MEGAPHONES!!!!
and many many more! I can truly say I did not remember the Swamp being anywhere near this bad. I have a new found HATE for the Gators. The Gator TD right before the first half ended I was walking down the steps and one guy yelled in my ear and another waved and said bye to every Vol who walked by! I was Pissed!
LAW you have a solid team in the Gators and you can have them, because your fan base is COCKY CLASSLESS SHOW OFFS! Congrats on the win you have a great great coach and TT is a playmaker in a great system!

I am ready to replace our coach. Here is why!
1. Pass to the RB / Quick slant
2. Run Coker our speed back up the middle/Run Foster on a sweep who is a better power runner and slower than Coker.
Repeat til you R down by 35 or not in field goal range! DO NOT THROW ANY PASSES OVER LINE OF SCRIMAGE!!!!!!!

all colleges have their assholes. don't group everyone into a category because of a few cat calls that were thrown your way..

speaking of "thrown your way" living in nashville and being a UF fan, I've had my car keyed with "Go Vols" twice as well as had mustard squirted on one of my friends at Neyland Stadium. Oh lets not forget the Maker's Mark bottle that was thrown by the guy next to me at the players as they went onto the field....

READ: the bottle was EMPTY prior to kickoff!!!

Sorry fine vol. I was lucky, my trip to Gainesville resulted in a win... but now you too know why Florida fans are the worst of the bunch.

I did my part. A group of Vol fans walked by asking for directions. I made them stop by and have a beer with me. There are decent fans on each side, but also have their share of "jerks" also.

I agree, all schools do have them. We had a party at a friends house and a Gator fan was there. He was total class, nice guy and gracious in victory.

Having said that, I have also been to all SEC stadiums with the exception of LSU and AU, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt, we were treated the worst by the Gator fans. UGA fans were terrible, Bama fans were condescending, but UF fans were in a complete league of their own (although I hear LSU ain't no picnic either)

I know many Gators are not that way GN but it was truly around every corner pregame. I am not the type to say things like this unless it really played on me. Great game to you also GN.

I've been to a lot of SEC stadiums, but Florida is the worse. Other teams might rib you or verbally tease you, but the Gator idiots throw stuff or spit on opposing fans and their cops do absolutely nothing.

I've been to FL several times. The last time was 99, which will be the last time I ever go...unless I have an armed escort and tear gas.

Fine, I've heard worse at UT home games from opposing teams. Hell, Cal fans were worse than what you've reported tongiht.

Unfortunately, I have witnessed our own fans do the same. As mentioned above, all schools have their share.

I did walk right by one of the NC Gator Bball players after the game (Tall LOL Dreds) he was cool but cant remember his name.

Heh! Guess that's what 3 national championships does to you! We've got some jerks, too, (tho' I have season tix in the south end zone - lower level- and I've never ever seen a bottle thrown on the field).

I know people get out of line in Kville also but you will never convience me it is any where near what happened today!

i think alot of it is because of the status of Florida sports in general nowadays.. the ******* factor rises immensly with wins.. Gator fans are a very proud bunch to begin with.. tack on two B-Ball championships plus a BCS title... well you all know where i'm going with this... but like everything what goes around comes around and sooner or later this conversation will be played out on a gator forums somewhere...

I also meant no disrespect toward any Gator fan but today I have had it with them. I also am not saying these things because of a loss. GATORS MADE US LOOK LIKE BOYS
