For the record:
MSU lost its All-Big Ten LB in preseason.
Lost a Senior All Big Ten DB in the second or third game (He will be back for the bowl game)
Lost a starting DB for 2-3 games due to a concussion.
Spent the middle part of the season with 3 starting OL's out to injury, including their all american center (due to a cheap shot from Rutgers) These guys are all back, mostly healthy
Starting and backup RBs were both hurt at the same time in the middle of the season. Played the 3rd and 4th string for several games in a row.
Connor Cook was hurt on a cheap shot tackle against Maryland. (this "bodyslam" bull**** has got to stop. Someone is going to get killed if they dont put an end to it)
MSU is just now getting healthy. Give 2 more weeks for the OL and Cook to get back to 100% and we will see a team that put up 40+ points per game before injuries.
We will have our top DB back from a bicep injury for the bowl game. He will make a difference. This team started 3 freshman DBs for several games this year. Including Michigan. Its a damn fine team. I expect a win against Alabama. These are not the same two teams that played each other a few years ago. MSU has come a long ways since then.
