B. Williams getting some love in LA...

Just thought I'd share with you that a couple of Fox affiliates here in Los Angeles showed the clip of Brian Williams' buzzer beater during the sports segment of their broadcast last night (even though the game was on Tuesday night). The reporter said nothing about being over the back of Barnes; simply said "Check out this amazing shot by Brian Williams of Tennessee to beat the clock as he was falling to the floor." Interesting that they showed the clip to open up the sports segment...
Glad to see a little love for the Vols out here on the West Coast! :)

What's interesting is the love affair the local media had with Pete Carroll while he was at USC. You couldn't turn on the TV without seeing his face - literally! Now that Kiffin's at the helm, the only thing you see of him is a quick 30 second sound bite following the end of a USC game. It's kinda strange because Carroll did appearances on the local sports shows, commercials, etc. Kiffin has no public image at all! I don't think USC fans/alumni are too happy about the hire...
