They are predicting the Amway (coaches) poll. Did it last year and was very close. For reference, UW was 18 and made the playoff. It's good to see they think TN is a mainstay in the top 25 now.

Amway Projected Top 25 Preseason

1. Alabama

2. USC

3. Ohio State

4. Florida State

5. Penn State

6. Oklahoma

7. Clemson

8. Georgia

9. Washington

10. Michigan

11. Louisville

12. LSU

13. Auburn

14. Florida

15. Oklahoma State

16. Wisconsin

17. Texas

18. Miami

19. Kansas State

20. Stanford

21. South Florida

22. West Virginia

23. Virginia Tech

24. Tennessee

25. Washington State

Btw, I'd bet a dollar the AP poll has FSU #2 to start the year with a #1 vs #2 matchup with Bama/FSU.

As I've said before, UGA is the most underperforming team in NCAA Football history. The talent is almost always top 5 in the whole country and has the best high school talent in the country in their own back yard.

Frankly, the fact that they haven't won an SEC championship in 12 years is completely and utterly embarassing.

USC at 2? That's just plain dumb.

Yep, the college football version of "death and taxes" is "USC and Notre Dame." One or both of them will always be hyped to high heaven before the start of any season.

Outside of the Pete Carroll era (or the parts not taken away by NCAA sanction for cheating), both programs almost always end the season ranked significantly lower than where they started.

But then it'll happen all over again the following season.

USC and ND -- college football's death and taxes (this year, no taxes! woot!).

Didn't Michigan lose a ton of guys on both sides of the ball? Like maybe 10 starters on D?

I have questions with UGA, MICHIGAN, UF, Texas, and USF's rankings.

What have they done to even earn that?

All about projections. Everyone knew they would be the top rated SEC East team since they were picked to win the East. Been reading "season projections" by a bunch of guys have them in the 10-2/9-3 range. I have to see it on the field first but being the previous coach avg almost 10 wins a year, the talent is there to do it. A lot of big names in recruiting are watching to see if Smart can win the East.

All the Fla writers I saw are picking UGA to beat Fla but the same ones are picking Fla to beat Tn, 2 of the 3 says by double digits so take ALL predictions with a grain of salt. GA 247 guys are picking Tn to beat UGA, so IOW, they are just guesses like you and me.

Like I have said before. I hope that we are so under the radar that we end up 14-0 and ranked 23rd in the nation going into the natty!

Got to respect a poll sponsored by a multi-level marketing Ponzi scheme company.

I just can't see USC being #2 but I'm all for them taking a fall after being hyped up.

With the Chick Fil-A match up on opening weekend, it will be:

Al
FSU
OSU
PSU
USC
OK
Clem
Mich
Aub
GA

I laugh when I see the Amway poll.

Oh boy would you look at that, USC at 2, UGA ranked one spot below Clemson, and Texas at 17. If I had a dollar for every time those three teams were overhyped I'd be living large.

Preseason polls are useless. I don't think there should be an AP or Coaches poll till the 5th week of the season, but I know that will never happen.
