I am not well versed on Vol Bball but is Allen Houston the best player the Vols have ever produced in basketball?

Let's take this a few steps farther...

Who would make up the all-time Tennessee team?

I want some of what you are smoking
You are kidding aren't you? Bernard King was the dominant player in the SEC during his career. He lead the NBA in scoring multiple times. Allan Houston was a very good college player and a good offensive player in the NBA, nothing more.

Exactly. If Bernard King hadn't messed his knee up he would have had an absolutely amazing NBA career.

Bernard King
Ernie Grunfield
Dale Ellis
Allen Houston
Ron Slay
Reggie Johnson
Tony White

What is sad is that Vincent Yarbrough is not on this list. If he would have recived any adequate coaching during his time at UTK he would have been one of the better players to ever play there.

so I can put like 3 sg's and king on the team. Who gets Center and who'd be our pg? just for fun, I want to make sure Kevin Nash makes the team, even if he's the backup center

Reggie Johnson was the best center to ever play at UTK. We have never had a great PG. Tony White would probably get my nod for best PG. Him or Tony Harris....or wait...

Danny Schultz and Bill Justis were pretty good guards. Also, Ron Widby's shooting ability certainly merits a spot on any UT all time team.
