Iām more of a wait and see for the season kind of guy. The jubilation or disappointment was a continuation to board expectations for the first time poster comment from a previous post. Itās May, not Marchā¦thatās jubilation or disappointment season.Soooo jubilation or disappointment? Those were your words so i'm wondering which it is for you?
i'm genuinely curious. I've seen others take in it but what is yours using one of the two descriptives you used earlier ?
Whoās tha @DarkPhoenix? Kept the heat on the recruiting staff. Large kahunas or ovaries. One more surprise or more to come? You sipping on a Big Gulp now with Jewel adding to Wells and Strickland! Drink up and enjoy how they all help the LVs this season.
And you're welcome

IMO Rickea is out of the post and onto the wing. That's where she'll play in the W, too small to post up there. Really too small to do it in college but still does an amazing job of it. Will still probably post some if/when we are in desperate need of a bucket but hopeful w a healthy Key that won't be necessary.Who is the starting SF/3G at this point? Puckett? Seems thatās the position we most need to get out of the portal next. Rickea, Key, and Hollingshead should have the 2 post positions solidified.

All the W draft analysis, which is admittedly whacked when it comes to RJ, says she needs to develop a more reliable outside shot and better handle on the wing to successfully transition to the W. Pretty sure that's a big reason she came back.
I love our post game w Key, Jill, and Karo.
Just my opinion here. Thanks for that. Couple more questions:
1) are we expecting much from Kaiya Wynn next year? Could she make a jump in minutes/production?
2) what position is Ace Strickland expected to play? Is she a PG or SG?
Just my opinion here.
Wynn is greatly beloved by everyone, which is why she is still here. But PT is going to be even harder for her now with the great enhancement, especially offensively, of the guard spot. Alot depends on how Wells and Spear play defense. If they struggle there, Wynn could find mins as a defensive/press specialist.
I believe Strickland is an SG. Like Wynn, with a deep and wide rotation in front of her in the backcourt, she'll struggle to find time. Wells/Powell in combo have PG locked, and Spear/Darby are pretty dang solid at SG. IMO AS will benefit greatly from a year of practice and spot duty on a squad that's on a whole different level than she's ever played on. She might become a future contributor if that goes well.
