Yea...keep the evil TEE out of Tennessee. He cant even live in this state.:lolabove:

You can laugh all you want, but I am not sure I can stomach Tee (if he is hired) doing a "Vol Network Special" telling us all how he's always been a Vol and how he's here to stay and he just had to wait for the "right opportunity" to come back. Anyone think he shows up to the interview this time with his USC hoodie on? :)

Save it Tee!

I don't get the hate for Tee. So what if Butch offered him a job a couple years ago and he turned it down? That's not disrespecting your alma mater, it's just doing what you thought was best for you at the time.

Careful what you wish for.

Azzanni has been one of our best recruiters and has been integral to our success in many ways. While the passing game might've underperformed for a good chunk of the season, there were a lot of different factors for that (injuries and suspensions at WR, Dobbs' accuracy, O-line issues early in the season). While I certainly think it's fair to hold ZA accountable for some of the issues, I wouldn't ignore the fact that he's done a heck of a lot to improve this program. And even if the passing game didn't work smoothly till the Vandy game, our WRs have been excellent at blocking (an underrated reason for our success).

If he does leave for an OC position, I wish him the best, and hope Butch can find a great replacement.

Great post.

My wife was 'coached up' by Azzani at the Butch & Barb camp. Seems like she has more inside info on his techniques than we do here on VN. Oh, she likes him.

So Azzani "coached" up your wife?? Dude I'd whoop his arse!!

Michigan DC just named for Maryland;
I don't see any VOLS coaches named HC; maybe in a couple of years after significant wins against ranked opponents.....but, need longer body of work.

tee's wifey ain't leaving her aspiring career in california to come to knoxville. And don't forget, the insightful tee martin called jalen hurd "...soft"... The vols can and will do way better.

👍

I'll be shocked if some school ops for Azzani, Gators don't want him back, does Butch? We'll see.....

Azzani has been a great recruiter and ambassador for the program, however at some point you need to see results. Given the underwhelming production of elite WR recruits (North, Malone, Pearson..) its difficult to get excited about anyone we are recruiting at that position for 2016.

He went out of his way to call Hurd soft.

I don't think this will happen considering how he was treated his last go around here, but I would be very happy with the hire.

How he was treated last go around was during the Mike Hamilton era. An AD change goes a long way to mending rifts.

So we've had the SEC lineman of the week two of the last three weeks and you want to fire the O lone coach??

Lol..think i's very clear Debord has been a huge asset for the OLine. Don't think it's a coincidence that they have looked better with him helping coach the position he is very familiar with. We badly need a true QB coach so turn the OLine completely over to Debord and that will free up a spot to hire a true QB coach. We all remember the years we didn't have a real RB coach,it was RB coach my committee and from a GA. And the RB's looked absolutely lost and had no true position coach.

Honestly if ZA leaves and Tee is the best person for the job, I could care less what he said about Hurd. The guy is a stellar recruiter and I believe known to be a pretty good WR coach as well.
