I love that attitude. I really hope that is the attitude the whole team has. I hope they're working their tails off to win the competition, but when or if they're beat, I hope that they recognize that there's something bigger than their statline.

Great attitude...I don't think he said "let Mo Couch start"...but "IF he is a better player"...team first not me...too many armchair quarterbacks try to make/read too much into a sentence or two. Love the kid!

I personally think he should take an approach like Haynesworth, coming it and calling our senior lineman telling the O-lineman he would whip their ass and the D-linemen that he would take their job. Top 10 pick, highest payed defensive player at one point, now plays with arguably the best franchise in the league.

None of that sounds very humble to me. I must admit to being pretty confused, though, between the "ethics" thread and this whole idea of being a good player but keeping it a secret.

I really thought that Washington telling everybody that he was a stud and then going out and playing like a stud was a pretty good thing, but it is possible I was wrong because I keep reading otherwise, and this time his name was even in CAPITAL LETTERS.
