I love and respect tradition more than most about most everything, but there comes a time when I have to move on with the times. Having something different (on rare occasions) for the young kids is needed. It's what they seem to like. Don't @ me about Bama. Win like they do and you can do whatever you want. JMO. UT and Penn St don't have that luxury.

I Love Tradition. And hate fads.
Explain the difference. Couldn’t all of the things we now know as traditions have been a fad when it started? There were people like you who I’m sure said the same thing about the song Rocky Top when it was first sang. Or the checkerboard end zone. Or running through the “T”. Traditions have to start somewhere.

We traditionally wore orange jerseys on the road up til the sixties. Id like to go back to that.

The Smokey gray unis were awesome in my opinion. They just wore them too much I think.

I’d like to see us pull out the all white uni from the Fulmer years with the black outlining around the numbers every now and then.

Standard away uni should be the "storm trooper" look. Adjustments may be made for select matchups (e.g. at LSU). The rare exception, emphasis on rare.

You're probably right. It's not a bad thing at all...probably a good thing. But the folks that get all hot and tempered...jumping off their rocking chairs and spilling their pbr because of one game where we wear something they don't approve of us just silly.

Don't waste pbr....just enjoy the game....it's not like we are changing the unis for ever.

I live in Oregon now, where it rains a lot. Bright chartreuse unis that the Ducks wear help with visibility. Knoxville ain't Oregon, I don't own a rocking chair, and Basil Hayden is too expensive to spill. Now get off my lawn .

IIRC there is a NCAA rule that home team wears dark color uni’s and visiting team wears light color uni’s. LSU ask every team that goes to Red Stick for an exemption so they can wear white at home.
