Anyone watching UNC right now with the light blue helmets and pants with the white jerseys... good look!! I wish we could a matte orange solid helmet with white T and and orange britches and white jerseys. Would be an awesome combo and traditionalists couldn’t say a word because we wore orange helmets in the past.

The more orange the better without being overkill.

At one time I thought the matte orange helmets would be okay to try out, give it a shot. Some metallic helmets are pretty cool too. But that said, I also liked the Smokey grey uniforms, but after one time they lost their appeal for me.
My favorite combos are the traditional home Orange jerseys with white britches and the away white jerseys with Orange britches.

You're probably right. It's not a bad thing at all...probably a good thing. But the folks that get all hot and tempered...jumping off their rocking chairs and spilling their pbr because of one game where we wear something they don't approve of us just silly.

Don't waste pbr....just enjoy the game....it's not like we are changing the unis for ever.

I prefer the classic look with alt combos the all orange and all white.

I don’t like alt colors or helmets. When I glance at a TV I like to know who is playing instantly.

If UNC can match a color helmet, why can’t UT? I never want to see trashy gray or black on our uniforms again. This program has suffered greatly since October 31, 2009.

Would love to see an orange and khaki uniform next year as a throwback to honor the 1940 Vols and Coach Cafego. Would have been appropriate this year to honor the 1939 Vols who were that last team to go through a season unscored on.

It’s not a fad, all I’m asking for is an ORANGE version of our white helmet, nothing else. We’ve worn orange helmets before in the 40’s.
