i must admit as well...I think you are one of the best posters on here...

 Let ME say thanks for getting to participate here! Not everybody is willing to listen to a female talk about college football, lol.

I always listen to you. I wish most thought as clear headed as you do. You also happen to do some great zingers.

I'm 61 and I don't like being grouped with the "old people." Sure, when I was 30 I thought 60 was OLD. :scare: For that matter, I remember 30 sounding pretty old when I was 20. But as I get older, the "old" limit keeps moving further out! :neener2:

There are guys at work older than me that call me "the old man" and some youngsters call me Father Time. I love their jealousy.

If that's your hog in your avatar I understand the jealousy. A nice ride will sure keep you feeling young :superman: and inspire jealousy! RTL LTR.

Thanks. That's the last woman in my life...Unless I can aquire another shovel later on.

26 year old, single white male. I'm an easy going guy just looking to have a good time...Oh wait, wrong forum...

I don't post very often, but I do love my VOLS!

A list of names with the ages beside it. Cause I won't be able to remember after this thread is gone how old anybody is. lol

OK. I didn't know if you wanted a pie chart or what. That makes sense. I'd like to see that.

Maybe I can create a thread where everybody can try to guess everybody else's age.

It has nothing to do with football. It has to do with the VN members. A lot of us like it evidently. You don't have to read it so go away.

Question is, who are the +60s?

Hi BeecherVol and a big Happy New Year to ya'. I'm 64 and my Dad started taking me regularly to Neyland in '56 when Johnny Majors was the star tailback in the old single-wing formation. We were at the Georgia Tech game in Atlanta (Grant Field) that year when the Vols won a classic 6 to 0. A nation-wide poll of sportswriters voted that game the "greatest college game ever" for decades. I saw a Tech fan outside the stadium before the game waving two 100 dollar bills for "two together". NO takers. In 1956, 200 bucks was WAY more than most folks made in a month!! Three years later, I was down on the field in Neyland when we stopped the great Billy Cannon's 2-point try and prevailed 14 to 13 over No. 1-ranked L.S.U. I'm UTK class of "68 and was there when the Vols turned the corner in "65. Had classes and partied with most of those guys. Magical times, my friend. I still yell and holler, ( too much according to the wife), but I LOVE my Vols and will till the day I die.:pepper:

This is great. Now I am older and more senile. I just replied to a post that dissappeared. I think I need another Blue.
