This whole discussion got started because I said Drax was the funniest character in the MCU lol. Deadpool's great, but he isn't technically a part of it, despite being a Marvel character. It would be awesome if he was, but the vulgarity that goes along with him would keep that from ever happening.

Wow, talk about triggered. Did I say I wasn’t a geek? Jesus, you guys get so rattled. I never said he was part of this MCu, I only said it’s marvel so that’s good enough for me. You guys jumped all over it, that is a bit geeky IMO. Settle down Francis, I’m sure Marvel will do just fine without me thinking Deadpool isn’t part of MCU

I sincerely wanted to go watch it again, but swim meet got delayed because of a wreck. I still may eventually.

It’s a good marvel film. Not Spider-Man 3 by any means. The best, not in my book but still a decent popcorn flick

I mean...the MCU stands for Marvel Cinimatic Universe so technically, that is just their movie/tv studios which Deadpool is currently not a part of.

Side note: I definitely want to see an extended flashback sequence of Thanos wiping out Xandar to acquire the power stone. Need that Glenn Close and John C. Reilly cameo.

Hopefully we get a Richard Rider(Nova) appearance soon too.

Well the comics were never R rated so I don’t know that it’s a disservice to character.

Maybe to the fans of the first movie but not the character in general.

I never read the comics, so you might be right on that. But I'm talking about the character as he's being portrayed now.
