Haven’t seen it yet but we have done this for other big movies so those that have seen it can start discussing openly without using the spoiler tags.

I know some of you will being seeing it tonight and tomorrow. I’ll join back on Sunday night. Have fun.

Man. I’m not sure a fictional death will ever hit as hard as Tony’s did.
Plus, early on when he’s weighing whether he should do it with Pepper, he says something along the lines of, “Maybe I should just go back to bed.” She replies with, “But could you rest?” with the implication that he couldn’t rest if he were able to bring everybody back and didn’t. Then, when he brings everybody back and stops Thanos from destroying everything, sacrificing his life, Pepper tells him, “You can rest now.” Man. I never heard so much open sobbing in a theatre in my life

So he's like dead dead, no magical superhero spell that can bring him back to life? That sucks. I like the Iron Man movies and RDj was perfect for the character.

Anyone else big die? Black Widow or Thor?

You sure you want to know? I don’t know how to do spoiler tags on mobile so if you don’t want to know stop reading

He appears to be dead dead, yes. It seems final. Black Widow also died, and Captain America is an extremely old man (time travel stuff) and it’s implied he is dying and this is his last on screen appearance

Yea, I'm not a big fan like you guys are, I could watch it 10 times continuously and still not get some of the references you guys bring up. Like the elevator comment above from Winter Soldier.

Anyway, not sure I care about seeing it if Scarlett dies too. Was hoping she would show up in other movies. Thor? Iwas hoping for at least another Thor movie.

Why do they make all these guys die? Does it really make the movie better for you big fans? I think it's stupid, but haha, what do I know.

I think them dying is more for them to be written off. Chris Evans wanted to move on and I'm guessing the same for RDjr. They cant go on forever lol. It's been 11 years of movies being tied together.

Plus, for a truly great movie there needs to be some casualties. It makes it hit a little harder.

Yeah well good thing they killed off Apollo instead of Rocky. Seen Creed... 2 yet? Lulz.

Thor is good, he went off with the Guardians at the end. And that actually will be a solo Black Widow movie, probably next year. Was rumored to be a prequel from before she was with the Avengers and now that seems to be a certainty

Ah, yeah that would be cool.

So, did you really like it?

I did. To be honest, some of the comedic bits really didn’t land with me (though others did). And as with all movies with time travel, you can find plenty of loopholes if you’d like too. But that’s pretty much it for me as far as complaints. It was definitely for the fans. All sorts of fan service, including the ridiculously epic third act battle that features just about every hero from the 22 MCU films. Maybe if I were more cynical I’d be put put off by fan service things, but as someone who grew up on this stuff, seeing Cap use Thor’s hammer will be a scene that always gives me goosebumps. And the third act is full of moments like that. And like I mentioned in my first post on this thread, Tony’s death was handled incredibly well. So I absolutely loved it as a huge MCU fan, this whole cinematic universe thing really pays off in this movie. Though I imagine someone not well versed in the MCU would be extremely confused

Captain using Thor's hammer is cool.

I enjoy these movies I just never was into the comics and don't know anything about all of these guys, except what I've seen in the movies. I would have noticed Captain using the hammer, but like I said, so many other things I wouldn't catch if not for these spoilers. I read all the spoilers to all of the other Marvel movies here and Im glad I did.

That got me in the feels, I mean hard. The Black widow and Clint scene, then Tony. IDK if I can work tonight 😭. That was good, great, and emotional. The "I am Iron Man" at the end was epic.
The song by Black Sabbath?

I think it was fitting that this 22 movie series started with Iron Man, and Iron Man is the one that “ended” this saga. Another great movie from Marvel.

I don’t make it to a lot of movies, but made it to this one today. If you like Marvel it was really good. I said Whoa! Out loud when Cap picked up Thor’s hammer. Was happy with the Peter/Tony theme.

I enjoyed it, but not as good as Infinity War in my opinion. Only disappointment was not seeing more of the others character powers in battle, but we got a lot of that in Infinity War. I expected a lot more of Captain Marvel, and was hoping for some more of Smart Hulk also.

Black widow died and has a solo black widow movie coming out. Maybe it’s. Prequel but it is coming out.

Superhero deaths are like deaths on days of our lives.

Bo Brady and Stefano died countless times.

Sorry for the analogy but my wife took my balls long ago.

The Black Widow movie is a prequel.
