AutoZone Liberty bowl

I saw that earlier today, and unfortunately that sounds about right. There's going to be a logjam of SEC teams with 3-5 losses to fit into the Outback, Cotton, Chicken, Music City, Liberty, and Shreveport Bowls. If you figure that Kentucky (Woodson), South Carolina (hasn't been anywhere better than Liberty lately, Spurrier), and Alabama (haven't been anywhere better than Music City lately) will all be more attractive candidates than us at similar records, then it's hard to see how we're not going to fall a long way. Everybody got moved up a slot last year when the SEC got two slots in the BCS; if that doesn't happen this year, then we could easily be Memphis-bound.

I have a feeling that if they have a choice the Music City Bowl will want UT.

Just a hunch based on nothing.

If I had to pick between the "No one gives a s---" bowls I'd chose The Music City Bowl, due to it being 40 min from my house when I'll be home for Christmas and I can go.

Oh and,
BBBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCEEEEEE!!!! (Don't let us down, PLEASE!)

Great... Sam's Town and a Vol Game will be within 30-40 minutes of one another.

I just got back from Sams Town about 20 mins ago. Went down to eat some Corkey's BBQ and play some Blackjack with some friends. Vols and Sams Town sounds like a plan to me..

I am a Horseshoe Gambler myself. Village Square Buffet, The Liberty Bowl and Beale Street. That sounds like a good trifecta around December.

Liberty Bowl works fine for me. I'm going to be in town that day for the Memphis-Arizona hoops game. That would be a nice doubleheader.

I think it depends. If Vandy can win 2 more (they still have Miami, Ohio, and Wake on their schedule), then they will be bowl eligible. If Vandy and UT have the same record I'd say the MCB would take Vandy.

Hat, I will be at that game myself. It should be a really good game, as long as Memphis lets AZ hang in the game.

I hear ya, Horseshoe has the best Buffet hands down. The folks I was with, there from NY. and wanted some BBQ and wanted to play some blackjack so Sams Town was the first choice.

Any chance UT would have the courage to make a statement like Notre Dame did years ago by declining a meaningless lower level bowl game? I am sure that is not possible given SEC contracts etc BUT I for one would love to see them make that kind of decision especially if it means some CUSA or lower level ACC team beating us once again.

Simply put, NO.
