I like how anytime Hubbs drops a name posters with "sources" come out of the woodwork and echo what he says. I wonder how many of their sources have a VQ subscription... :)

The local radio guys in Baton Rouge mentioned Austin this morning. They are very high on him and are dreading the possibility of him leaving.

Also, I've seen it mentioned that Austin turned down several NFL gigs to remain at LSU. However, he did leave LSU, albeit very briefly, for a similar position at USCw. Apparently was only there for 6 weeks because of AD turnover with Pat Haden.

There is an actual connection here, at least. If you read the article posted earlier in the thread, he was on Fulmer's staff at one point and left when Kiffin was hired, and he got a master's degree from UT.

This guy could be the key to helping us lock up the state with the class of 2019.

He's already been recruiting a bunch of big time instate recruits in the class of 2019.
