It sucks, but it's not a excuse to suck. If we look as crappy on defense this year like we did at the end of last year, then Shoop isn't worth the money.

We do. Dillon Bates was a top 100 recruit. Daniel Bituli and Quarte Sapp are elite talents. Will Ignont was a highly rated recruit this past year.

We have players. We just have dumb coaches that don't know who to play and can't develop players in time.

You are ridiculous. Being highly rated doesn't guarantee success. It doesn't even guarantee that a guy has talent.

Chris Donald signed with UT as a 5* prized recruit. He couldn't earn time at UT and eventually couldn't even earn a starting job at Chattanooga.

About all you know about talent is recruit rankings... and you don't even understand that.

Nothing is guaranteed, however, the better recruits you have, the better chance of success you have. Just ask anyone who has won the national title over the last 20 years.

Nothing is guaranteed... except that D4H is ignorantly arrogant of the game of football. I've been critical of the coaches myself. I don't think I make definitive statements about how "dumb" the coaches are.

No Kidding. Obviously somebody inside the program has to know the extent by now. Can somebody with an insider subscription to Volquest or 247, help us out? Another poster said he traveled with the team, so that sounds promising.

Having Tuttle and Smith back on defense would make a big difference for us stopping the run. Hoping for some good news before Florida week!
