I've watched Austin and his brother play during their high school careers and they're better than average players that have good speed. Are the SEC caliber receivers??? I'm not to sure. Austin is maybe a pretty good #3. What worries me is that I don't see Zach being nearly as good of a football player as Austin. He may be fast but he's not the play maker that Austin was. Regardless, he's got a 4 year ride.
A lot of people said the all the great WRs we signed in 2007 would prevent Lucas Taylor from having a decent season. He was a couple of receptions away from setting the single season record. These new guys might force Austin to the sideline, but I'd say it's more likely that players already on the roster surpass him.
you are the only one that has commented on the color of his skin. i think that he is a below average WR because of what i have seen in his play.
I think he's in denial. He really want AR to be a good receiver but he's just not a SEC receiver. They can get mad at me all they want but from what I've seen out of receivers that have played I've only seen one make plays against the the Georgia's, Floridas, Bamas, and LSUs of the league. And guess what that receiver isn't Gerald Jones. I personally wouldn't back off Gerald Jones at the line of scrimmage.

Without giving props or flames to any receiver I'd like to point out that given this last seasons QB play pretty much emasculated the WR position. Those poor SOB's never had a chance to show more than a flash here or there.
Let me put this in perspective for you; in '07 Lucas Taylor had 73 receptions for 1000 yards. In '08, the top THREE receivers COMBINED for 75 catches and 821 yards.
