Austin Rogers - 49 Rec. 550 Yards 3 TD's
Patrick Turner - 41 Rec. 464 Yards 3 TD's

What do you think about our former in-state 5-star that turned against us now?? Our dirty white boy is tearing him up.

What would Rogers do if he had as many talented recievers around him as Turner has around him? Sorry I am not sold on Rogers.

How will the WR's look next year..

Jones, O'neal, Taylor have to be the front three

Rogers, Paige, Briscoe and Hancock coming off the bench maybe?

I'd take Turner in a heartbeat. He'd be the deep threat that UTK has not had this year. With a Turner-type receiver on the field this season would probably have been more sucessful.

I have no reason to believe that O'Neal will be a starting WR. I think that his speed is killer, but he may not cut it as a WR. I think that Jones and Taylor will see a lot of playing time. I see no reason at this point why Rogers won't be the 3rd in that rotation, although I could see Briscoe improving and getting some time.

If Ahmad can put on some weight he could really show up next year. It's hard to assess where he will be in the rotation until we see where he is at in his conditioning/development.

O'Neal has done nothing to be a top 3 WR next year.
Has he been given a chance?

The only time they play him is on a end-around...I gurantee that Kenny is a better wr than Rogers...Austin catches one touchdown every now and then and we want to crown him king of knoxville...What about all the drops he had this year...Def. not sold on him....He does take a pounding every game though, tough guy...

Next year's WR Corp. looks pretty exciting on paper. I think we can at least count on big things from Gerald Jones and the continued consistency of Lucas Taylor. Frankly, I think we look pretty good on offense next year considering we are returning basically everyone and have the summer/spring to continue developing our young talent.

I guarantee that hes not. Do you really thing that a coach on the hotseat would start a WR if he knew there was a better one. O'Neal has no hands, not a good route runner, and has trouble learning the playbook.

I don't see how we can say that O'Neal is a better WR that Rogers. He didn't look good in the scrimmages, practice, or any of the games he has been in, as far as I can remember.

agreed.......you also have to take in to account USC's injury issues......running game has suffered, qb inconsistency.......probably not the best year to say that AR is better than PT......as good as i think AR has been this year, i still have yet to see him just "beat" anyone down feild. catch, hit the turf.

not that there's anything wrong with that......:p

Austin Rogers's hands are stone...Kenny is a better wr than Rogers period! I think Fulmer is officially off the hot seat to...

I mean, isn't that what he was recruited for basically? I cannot say with a straight face that AR is supposed to be our deep threat we have plenty of other WR's who should fit that bill. Honestly, as long as he gets rid of the dropsies he will be (and is really) a pretty servicable slot receiver.

Oh man! If I had to rank why Austin looks better than Kenny it would be

1) Route running (from what we've seen)
2) Hands

O'Neal sounds like he has horrible hands. Austin can grab some crazy tosses (not that he hasn't dropped some easy ones). I'm not saying that he is great, or even our best receiver - but I don't think it's fair to him to say O'Neal is better.

Kenny has had more problems with drops than Rogers has had and roger knows how to run routes and he knows the playbook. Show me anything that shows O'Neal is a better receiver that than rogers. O'Neal is a more gifted athlete but Rogers is a better receiver.

Lets see here...Kenny had to learn the FSU playbook, then he went to JC in San Fran and played both sides of the ball so theres two more playbooks he had to learn...He has alot thrown at him in the past two years...

The evidence proves this to be incorrect - what do I get in return for this "guarantee" you make?

I had high hopes for Kenny, and the coaches have tried to get him on the field numerous times. He has not performed well in any of his chances.
