Do you think Florida State and Alabama hired him as their D.C. because he was a bad coach? He did win two NCs as a DC but now he can't coach? These players weren't any good under two different staffs so when do the players get some blame?

He was the Gators best player tonight, no question. If we cant beat this effort tonight- might be better to disband the team for a few years and start from scratch. Good thing Gen Neyland is dead- this game would have killed him for sure. This team should play in black jerseys for the rest of this year- the are not worthy to wear the Sacred Orange.

I would hate to be this kid tonight, but what was he thinking?

He got the first down.

He was deep in the red zone.

He is a TE with little speed who just executed a sneaky play against UF DBs...

JUST GET ON THE DAMN GROUND, KID!

I saw him catch the ball and took the TD for granted as I have never seen a player that alone before.

There are offensive lineman that would have gotten into the endzone on that play.

The kid was just trying to make a play for his team when we were down. Why are our fans such idiots?

The touchback was bad luck. His blocking on the 3rd and two before that was pure laziness. He doesn't have the right attitude and in my mind has not bought in to the program. He should never play again.

Looks to me like Pope’s right hand knocked the ball out of his left hand. Is that right? I’m seeing double so not sure.

Matthew 6:3-4
3 But when you (are about to score), do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that (it doesn’t cause a fumble). Then your (coach), who sees what is done in (the film room), will reward you.

There’s a world of difference between being a DC and an HC.

I'm hoping he'll do well because no way in hell do we fire him, pay the buyout, then spend any amount of money on a proven coach. Pull your head out of your ass and think about it.

johnny majors said ..what you see on saturdays is what is coached during the week. so we have an unfocused, un disciplined group of coaches and players. penalties and turnovers abound. practice must be something.
