I don't really care about AJ getting a PI, but the simple fact that our bar for judging a player's action is over/under a player getting high, putting on UT gear, and attempting armed robbery with a pellet gun makes me want to cry.

Let's just hope it is not the topic of conversation on ESPN all day...At least he is not Stephen Garcia.

What I find hilarious is that ESPN deemed this arrest as news worthy, as it was at the top this morning. Johnson, of drinking age, and from what I know hasn't been in trouble before, gets a ESPN page dedicated to his mishap(A very, very minor mishap at that). Yet Florida S Matt Elam gets arrested for possession of alcohol by a minor on the same day, but it's nowhere in the headlines. I'd also like to point out this is the 2nd time he's been arrested for the same exact thing while attending Florida.

All others, regretful to see this happen. Especially when he's projected to be a leader and starter for the team. Hopefully this blows over into the realm of the forgotten and he has a monster season, gets drafted high and have an even more monster pro career.

I figured there was more to the story. Not sure if it still warranted an arrest, but maybe the cops knew better.

You're awful smug for such a weak troll.

IMO, that news story contains almost no relevant information other than AJ was out drinking legally and apparently got into a small shoving match that went nowhere. Big deal.

Who initiated the shoving match? Why did AJ "try" but apparently fail to fight the "white male"? Who identified him as having been a danger to himself and others, and what is that person's credibility? Why was it only said that he "matched a description" of the person hitting cars? We'll have to wait and see, I guess.

Yer not even drunk woods(assuming based on crusade against drinking) and seemingly told me to go be the victim of drunken violence or misdeeds. Seems to me like alcohol isn't the only thing that causes bad decisions. I guess for some people a random poster on VN disagreeing with you can cause bad decisions. And yes I would call wishing harm on someone you don't know anything about a bad decision because it just makes you look like a petty angry little man. I'm just making comments little woody so go celebrate yer victory of finding an article that implies that AJ was being a jack a$$ and being judgmental. Water to wine.

didn't see this anywhere so I thought i'd post... heard today that his punishment is community service and counseling...no suspension. IMO good to hear that he will move on from this situation he's had a great career so far. we all need to learn to grow up..sometimes it takes an arrest for the more stubborn folks.

I'm glad that is all he got if that is true. However I hope his reputation as a leader isn't hurt.
