Hopefully since he has been out of trouble and a class act the past few years he won't get suspended.

A Senior and leader on the team.
A guy playing a position of limited depth.
Just brilliant!!! Wasn't there a poster on here this past week saying how quiet things had been on the legal front. I want him brought out for all of volnation to roast!

He'll get a severe talking to and not miss any time.

I wouldnt be so sure....."changing the culture" will require punishing people period. I know we are hurting at LB but what type of message does it send to let him off light? He may not miss time, like you said, but there should be penalties.

I wish our players would grow up, seriously. He's supposed to be a leader.

Doesn't deserve suspension. Run the entire team to death in front of him. Then let him be bull in the ring

UT statement from spokesman Jimmy Stanton: "We're aware of an incident involving Austin. We're in the process of investigating."

Johnson was released this afternoon at 12:57 on $1,000 bail. Court date is August 4.

Tend to agree, particularly is he is 21 years old, and since I think this is his first big mistake.

This probably isn't a big deal, and honestly there really isn't enough information to go on to form an opinion. I don't see it effecting much, and I would say this will be handled in house.
