First, congrats and hope to see you in Orange.

Second, since you seem to have been fairly active in this thread, I have a recruiting question for you. Here on VN, we’ve had a number of debates about whether message boards influence recruits.

For you or others you know, would the way fans talk about recruits and their place on a school’s big board affect their decision? Would positive or negative reaction to player and coach performance make a difference? And would general chatter on a board about their team have any bearing?

I believe that a good message board will influence most recruits if they see it. I like fans that don't complain about everything, but at the same time I like fans that address problems or questions that need to be answered. I like positive fans, I do not want to be in an environment that is always negative. But overall, if fans are supportive on message boards, such as volnation, I do believe that it may play a part on where the athlete chooses to go.

It is going well. I have been on visits to GT and Miss St. I plan to go on a few more in the future. I have been invited to elite rival, scout.com and nike camps, which I hope will expose me more. I also plan on camping at UT, GT, Clemson, Miss St, Furman, Georgia Southern, and maybe a few more colleges hoping to pick up an offer during one of the camps.

praying you get an offer at camp.... you're already my favorite recruit. I wish other players/recruits would reveal their identities here on VolNation.

Anyhow, congrats again on winning that strongman contest. Benching 185 forty-two times is awesome! Tell Posey he's got some work to do if he wants to be stronger than youself. lol

We try our best. :)
The important thing is to choose the best option for you. Consider the most important factors, such as educational structure, the coaches, the support system, facilities, the fanbase, and any others you can throw in. That's on you. In the end, you wouldn't want to have any regrets about the decision you made. Whatever school you go to (as long as it's not one of our rivals :)), I hope you'll be very successful; you're a good kid. Best of luck to you; we'll be monitoring your career.

2011 Combine Season - Atlanta Juniors - National Underclassmen Football Combines Football Camp & High School Football Showcase For Freshmen, Sophomore, and Juniors

if i'm reading this correctly the closest guy to him was at 29 reps... he's fourth quarter strong! 42 reps at 17 is hudonculous

next closest to him checking the other junior numbers around the nation is 37 reps by two guys
Corbyn Amold Salem HS AR DL 5'11" 259
James Cranford Rison HS AR LB 5'10.5" 223

next closest i could find were a few guys doing 29 reps...

I went to this combine with him and his dad he won the Strongest Man Award and the OL MVP he got invited to the Ultimate 100. Attended UGA's spring game UThas cooled on him since CS left because Austin works out with NFL Pro Bowler Tony Jones and him and CS were close. They keep in touch and Tony told CS that he found a hidden gem in Austin. Well coming from a guy thats been to 13 Pro Bowls and has 2 Super Bowl rings CS took his advice and started recruiting Austin. Austin hasnt heard from UT since the breakup.

It is what it is. But yes, I have already arranged my schedule for next year that away I can graduate early.

I'm not sure. It really depends on if I hear anything from them between now and then. I'm going to choose about 6 camps to go to, and those 6 are the ones that I feel are most interested.
