Aussie Open 1 week away

For all you tennis fans (an I am one) the Australian Open kicks off on January 16. They will announce the draw on January 12. Andre Agassi is out with an ankle but Lindsay Davenport is favored to win the women's side.

Andy Roddick gets second seed in men's draw which is nice because he will not have to wory about Federer unless they meet in the final. Lindsay gets #1 seed in women's draw.

Venus out. Serena moves on. Roddick wins. So far so good for the USA athletes.

Andy has not lost a set in the first three rounds. Could be something special in the works.

Hillbilly, I love tennis. My wife and I stayed up to 3 am watching Martina Hingis. I like Roger Federer. Tennis is a truely mano-mano sport.

Well Roddick is out so my interest is greatly diminshed. I am also in a tennis household. It's 3:40 am here and I am awake because my girlfriend insists on watch Maria Sharipova's match on the live broadcast, not that I can complain about that though.
