Some discussions in the Scout forums about him getting an offer, but I wouldn't necessarily call it written in stone yet, that's for sure. Not seeing any other confirmable info about it.

No doubt, you should have been the source because you were right. Hubbs just confirmed Ausmus has been offered by USC. Seems AA wants to be the football strength coach only and DD and him will sit down and talk.

Edit: Now, he says AA has not been offered. I'm done with this thread.

strength coach Aaron Ausmus doesn't work on a contract. He could leave at any time for free (if he wanted).

Dooley is a proponent of Tommy Moffit's LSU strength program, though. And Ausmus, like Moffit, uses former UT legend John Stucky's system.

hubbs (on 104.5 the zone) just said in a nutshell that Ausumus isnt going anywhere if DD wants him.

Lol I am sitting at Chuckie Cheese with my family, oldest daughter made Star Honor Roll And this is where she chose as her reward, and who walks in.......Ausmus. He is pretty big but I wouldn't say huge. He has a pretty family. I really hope he stays bc I believe he will push the team harder than most bc he is an UT guy. V,B

The bigger question is whether or not AA wants to join the Turdmeister and his Band of Merry Men on the beach. I say... no.

They was talking the other day about this.It was said either his parents or his wife's parents live just north of K-ville.They thought the parents was enjoying the grand kids and that AA was settled and happy.Just what was said on the radio so I still dont know to believe it or not.

Ausmus wants to stay but last i heard was he was in limbo and didn't know if he would be retained or not.
