I want it for a couple of reasons.

#1 - Our recruits want it and deserve it. The ones we mentioned are talented and they want to be recognized for it, so by rooting for them to get the bumps it is the beginning process of us fans pulling for them.

#2 - What POA said, it is great for perception (Especially ESPN recruit rankings) forour program to be up there. It keeps the positive momentum going throughout the fanbase and will help Butch Jones' tenure long term.

Think of it this way...there are a TON of TN fans out there that only really follow the Vols during the season and check out our signing class rankings on signing day only. Those are also mostly the fans who sit on message boards uninformed during the offseason after a 6-6 season screaming FARRRR BUTCH he can't coach worth a lick and look his class ain't ranked near BAMA, UGA or THEM gators.

So if our guys are getting bumps and our class is in the top 5 on all the ranking sites, it helps Butch keep the fanbase at bay the first few years.

Nice pub for us. Kids take notice when you are loading up on 4 stars so it can feed on itself to an extent.

Also Chuma Edoga, Taj Griffin and Tyler Woodley are visiting this weekend.

As for this weekend, look for a handful of prospects in town including several commitments and several 2015 targets including Chuma Edoga, Taj Griffin (A likely top 10 player in Georgia next year), Ken Allen and promising 2016 prospect from Georgia Mecole Hardman.

i gave up on this series. not a whole lot of dates coming out. most of the dates that have been coming out lately kept getting changed and was hard to keep up with while working on the new series (Weekly Recruiting Update)

someone else should take over this series
