I've not but it just looks like that's how you would throw one. He has an odd looking release IMO

I know little about shotput but it's the opposite. They tuck it under the chin and push it more than hurl it. I agree though Bray's arm is way exposed in that pic.

Quotes from Dooley per Wes Rucker

Dooley said young Vols K Michael Palardy and P Matt Darr "are as good as I've seen coming out of high school."

Dooley on former pro baseballer Brent Brewer, now a Vols safety: "I think he’s going to be a steal for us. A great athlete ... instinctive."

Just like to inform you.... Tyler Bray is #8 and Matt Simms is #2

Ignorance is bliss but I appreciate that. Just glanced at the photo briefly from the iPhone and went with Bray when the other poster said shotput.

No, I thought this at the O&W game. I'm not slamming him because the ball gets to where it needs to go, I'm just saying I think he has an different looking realease.

I saw the same thing. You're not crazy. Little bit of a short-arm.

This is an injury that seem like it would happen no matter what. Walking the dog or whatever... I hope for the best! We need Walls!! GBO!!!

Well, the good news for Marlon is that he has no more Achilles tendons to rupture.

Thanks for all the updates. Hopefully, Walls' injury isn't that serious and he can be back on the field quickly. I can't wait to hear how the first day of full pads goes tomorrow. Go Vols!

All remaining DT's (both of them) need to be in lounge chairs, sipping cocktails and getting full body massages until the season starts (after UTM). CRAP!!!
