August 4th practice update.

Darren Myles

Darren Myles is the starting SS in NCAA Football 11. Myles is an 88 overall and has a hit power of 80, while Janzen Jackson is an 80 overall with a 44 hit power. EA screwed up our safeties this year. But in NCAA Football 10, Daryl Vereen started at the FS position. If I am correct, Vereen is currently not a part of the team.

It's true. A buddy of mine downloaded the names to the game and number 7 was myles jr.

anyone know how evander wells looked at the second practice session tonight? just curious, should be interesting with him

Here is what Hubbs had to say about him after seeing him at practice:

The Wells kid is intriguing to say the least. He can obviously run, and you can tell he has played the game before. We will see. Curious to see if he can be a kickoff return man.

Wells practiced tonight. Intriguing prospect. He has clearly played the game before. We will see. He's not very tall or big, but he does have a set of wheels, that's obvious.

Da' Rick could be or have the potential to be the most physically gifted receiver to ever play at UT imo

DaRick is physically built like Robert Meachem with about the same speed to boot. This is a good thing for the Vols if Rogers can put it all together and stay healthy.

Had Meachem stayed healthy his whole carreer here he may have been number 1 in the record books.

Seems like one hell of a dip on Simm's throwing motion..

I was thinking the exact same thing. Unless that was a Hail Mary pass, Simms is going to get stripped 5 outta 10 passes especially considering our O line's lack of experience against SEC caliber D linemen. :shakehead:

I looked at all those pictures and it seems to me that none of those guys "want it". Sleeves have not been cut high enough up and not enough staring.

Ok, i played football most of my life growing up, and i have never seen those things on the defenses helmets. The orange and blue rubber things. What are they?
