Marlon Walls is working at the 1st team DE over Bohannon.
Justin Hunter and Anthony Anderson were the ones getting reps at punt returner.
Teague and Waggner are the current 1st teamers at corner.
Brent Brewer is getting a lot of work in the box.
We will find out more once the pads come on.
Ill update the post after tonights practice.
Session 2
Not going to overanalyze the first day on the field for the newcomers. After all, they aren't in pads yet.
The freshmen who stand out physically are "Tiny", Maggitt, AJ Johnson, Randolph, Kerbyson and Saulsberry.
Dallas and Arnett were the two returning punts. Dallas didn't have the best of days catching the ball from WR, but no biggie. Arnett looked good running routes and catches the ball naturally. Needs to bulk up some.
Maggitt was with the LBs, no surprise there.
Byron Moore was with the CBs. Again, no surprise there. Moore and Justin COleman were the 1st team CBs in the night session.
While Tiny is the biggest physical specimen I've ever saw, he's a ways away from knowing the blocking schemes. Add the fact that he's not totally 100% yet, he won't play as much as some fans are hoping. (remember, Dooley went out of his way to mention him being day-to-day yesterday.)
Also, the DT Jeffrey was practicing tonight. If he was to ever dedicate himself and fully recover from his ACL injury, he could be a good player for us. The same with greg King.
