Auburn source - Bobby Petrino to be named new head coach

My UT source told me like 5 minutes ago that he was speaking to people back in Knoxville and they said UT did not speak with Bobby Petrino but they know 100% that Auburn met with Petrino 2 weeks ago. Who at Auburn? Boosters/ not sure. Admin? possibly but doubt it.

And he expects Auburn will officially offer Petrino by the end of the week.

How is it shorter? Petrino never was an option and still not sure AU will hire him. They have enough problems without the bad pub that goes along with hiring him.
