Last time the Big Orange played Auburn at Jordan-Hare, I was listening to the pre game on the radio when the Tigers ran onto the field. The stadium was so loud I couldn't hear the announcers. I knew right then we were in trouble. By the way, we got waxed.Auburn isnt in the top 5 football experiences in the SEC, but its not Vandy game either

Im thinking about going to Auburn game this year. How are the Auburn Fans? I need a good place to stay any suggestions? What to do and what not to do. THanks
I've been to Auburn a couple times, also including when they beat UF a couple years ago. It's pretty fun, and the fans are generally nice, but I was very disappoined in the lack of talent. We tailgated in a little park near the stadium which was a really good spot. I'll try to fnd the location and let you know....We didn't get waxed at all. And I'm telling you, Auburn doesn't get as loud as Neyland. I have been to numerous games there, including the Florida game two years ago when they beat them.
I would definitely argue that Auburn is in top 5 SEC experiences. It is much better than UGA and Bama in my opinion. It is actually a pretty cool and fun place.
Auburn fans weren't too bad. We had a 5 year run of SEC bowl game opponents that coincided with my years with the team and in school and my first year after graduating. We played Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee and Florida. We went 4-1, losing to the Vols. The best fans were easily the UT fans, who could've been complete jerks since they rolled us, but were totally class. The Bama fans were...weird. They threw stuff at us, too.
Anyways, the Auburn fans that traveled were pretty cool. Obviously any bowl opponent will generally be less hostile than a conference foe, but you can usually tell what schools have jerk fans. I have a buddy who's a UGA fan and usually goes to Auburn for that game and continually has had good experiences.
pfffft.... I can't believe you didn't know that, and you call yourself a fan...Bama fans are weird.. iv seen many of them cry after losses.
One of my best friends is an Alabama fan. He cries alot too. The best part about being friends with an Alabama fan is finding out new and interesting, enlightening facts about football from them. For instance, After UL-Monroe beat them last year, he informed me that UL-Monroe was loaded and probably going to a good bowl game, Who Knew? Another revelation he has since laid on me was that Auburn DE Quentin Groves isn't that good and couldn't pack Wallace Gilberry's lunch. Quentin Groves who tied a single game record for sacks(4) his freshman year at Auburn while in a DE rotation for the undefeated tigers. The same Quentin Groves who was know as the premiere pass rush DE in the SEC for as long as i can remember is not that good. I am so glad to be friends with an Alabama fan because if not for him i would look like an idiot when conversating with my college football peers for not knowing simple facts about football such as UL-Monroe being a powerhouse and Quentin Groves not being that good.
As someone who was there....we got waxed. We tried to make a game of it but it was never really close. We didn't get waxed at all. And I'm telling you, Auburn doesn't get as loud as Neyland. I have been to numerous games there, including the Florida game two years ago when they beat them.
